We’ve recently updated our photography of the Oasis 4 Poster – and it’s renewed our appreciation of this stunning, modern, canopy bed. With this in mind we thought we’d take this opportunity to show off the new images and take a detailed look at this contemporary take on the classic four poster.
The Oasis Canopy Bed
An elegant, contemporary four poster bed design. This luxury 4 poster is available to order in a range of sizes – from single to super-king – and in a number of solid hard-woods. The Oasis shown above (in three of the photographs) is made of solid oak – we also offer this bed in ash, beech, maple, cherry and walnut (the chocolate coloured timber shown in the fourth image). If you want a painted version of this bed – please call us to discuss your requirements – we can usually lacquer a beech bed in a variety of colours.
There is no need to worry about getting the Oasis upstairs – the flat pack design takes care of that! The assembly process is easy, particularly for two people, and the construction is rock solid.
The Oasis is a modern take on a classic canopy bed – it is without upper rails joining the footboard and the headboard. This design detail gives the Oasis its light, ‘open’ style. It also allows the headboard frame to be taller than the footboard – resulting in a simple, clean and contemporary design with an interesting ‘stepped’ appearance.

The Oasis is shown here in solid oak with storage units from our Black Lotus collection of solid oak bedroom furniture. The bedding shown on the Oasis above is from our Natural Cotton & Linen Bedding collection. The duvet cover and pillowcases are in soft white cotton with an embroidered circular pattern in grey. This Cloud Grey range features the repeat of a hand-stitched design, creating a band across the top of the duvet cover. A semi-circular portion of the circle design is repeated at the opening edge of the housewife pillowcases. The bedspread is the Juno Chain-stitch Quilt – the Juno has a white cotton cover, with a chain-stitch design in grey, coral and navy. The quilt is finished with decorative grey tassels along the two shorter sides.
For a cosy, but more minimalist look – here we have dressed the Oasis with charcoal linen bedding and a soft wool throw.
