Our prices include delivery on the UK mainland
Within the Sheffield area we deliver with our own vehicle, usually on a Saturday.
Outside the Sheffield area we use a carrier. When your order is ready we'll phone you to discuss delivery arrangements. Delivery will be on an agreed weekday between 8am and 6pm. In some cases it may be possible to deliver on a Saturday - there will be a charge of £25, paid separately.
Ganesh wooden bed
Sorry, this lovely Ganesh bed has been sold.
Ganesh is the Indian elephant God - very popular as the remover of obstacles and bringer of wealth. A carved wooden panel containing 4 hand carved images of Ganesh has been incorporated into the headboard of this unique bed. The carving on this mangowood headboard is deep and well executed and highlighted with a limed effect. In his hands Ganesh holds the traditional conch shell, a snake and his broken tusk.
This is a truly unique bed - we have only one! It has been made in India for the Natural Bed Company, bear in mind that a bed of this nature has a more rustic look than our modern, Made in Sheffield, beds.
Other carved Indian beds are the Khajuraho, Kandahar, Khyber, Shalimar and Kutch.
