At Natural Bed Company, we’re always on the look-out for new products to stock in our Sheffield showroom and on-line. The latest addition to our range is a collection of modern, sophisticated hand-woven wool rugs from RugGuru. RugGuru, a British family company founded in 1954, manufacture high quality, luxury rugs in both the UK and India, from the finest European and New Zealand wools.

We currently have samples of the Union, Urbane, Fusion, Imperial, Maine and Orient collections in our Sheffield showroom, detailing all of the various colour options available. In addition to this, we also have 160x230cm Maine and Union rugs, in Pebble and Chocolate respectively, paired with a king size (150x200cm) Ash Nevada and Black Oak Orchid Four Poster bed, helpful if you are interested to see how the wool rugs work with our hand made wooden beds.

Perfect for bedrooms, the lounge or a hallway, this range of natural wool rugs is diverse enough in texture, pattern and colour to fit in with any design scheme. They are available in four sizes – 80x150cm, 120x170cm, 160x230cm and 230x300cm, ensuring that you can accommodate one of these luxury wool rugs in any room.

Contemporary Woven Rugs

The Union Rug range utilize an oversized loop pattern to create a striking, modern look, with a design that gives the rug a depth and softness ideal to sink your feet into- perfect for relaxing after a long day at work! Available in four colour options: Ivory, Latte, Grey Whisper or Chocolate, and made from a blend of the highest quality wools.

Perhaps offering a more relaxed feel than the Union range, the Fusion collection is simpler in design, with a subtler, braided pattern. The three colour options available- Ivory, Biscuit and Grey allow for a subtle, elegant tone to be chosen, to perfectly match the design.

Available to order in four neutral colour options (Ivory, Sepia, Chocolate, Grey and Grey Whisper), the Urbane Rug collection is made using wool felt, utilising a hand-loom construction method, with a pile weight of 5000g per square metre. The thick and tightly braided pattern gives a plush feeling underfoot and the neutral colour options on offer allow the rug to be added to any room or hallway.

Luxury, Deep-pile Rugs

The designers at RugGuru have said that they wanted to experiment with texture and modernise classic designs with the Maine rug collection, using oversized tubular threads made from 100% pure wool, ensuring a luxurious feel. Available in Ivory, Biscuit, Pebble, Aubergine, Blue Mist colour options, the Maine range is an ideal choice if you are looking to balance traditional neutral tones and contemporary design.

Taking inspiration from a traditional country house style, the Imperial range, again constructed from 100% pure wool mixes a bed of long wool threads with neutral, calming colours, ideal as a finishing touch in a living room.

A Classic Striped Rug

The Orient rug is the only rug in the collection made using silky soft viscose – available in the following colours: Ivory, Stone, Grey Whisper and Grey. This range of rugs have a lustrous short pile with the feel of silk that almost shimmers makes you want to kick off your shoes and indulge in the moment. Hand loom woven, with a pile weight of 4500gms per square meter.

We expect a lead time of 1-2 weeks for all the wool rugs in the range, with the prices quoted online including delivery to the UK mainland. If you wish to place a multiple item order, please let us know and we may be able to reduce the overall cost of delivery.
