Planning to visit the Natural Bed Company showroom in Sheffield?

Many of our customers come from far afield to see and try out our wooden bed collection. They often ask for suggestions for other places to visit while in Sheffield – where are the best places to get some lunch or a good coffee, which are the not-to-be-missed galleries, parks and museums?
With this in mind we thought we’d write a blog listing a few of our favourite places – from well-loved Sheffield icons to where to find the best cappuccino!

Coffee & Cafes:
There are so many fantastic coffee bars in Sheffield it’s very hard to choose! So here are a small selection of our favourites…
Steamyard – a new addition to our list of favourites and just down the road from the Natural Bed Company Sheffield showroom. It offers great coffee and the best doughnuts in town!
Remo’s in Broomhill offers fabulous authentic Italian coffees, amazing hot chocolate and great quality lunchtime treats and cakes.
Tamper – this Sheffield brand has been so successful there are two Tampers now! A small coffee bar near to Natural Bed Company and a much larger coffee bar and restaurant in the Cultural Industries Quarter.

Restaurants:
The Milestone is an award winning gastro-pub dedicated to championing local produce.
Gusto Italiano (city centre) and Nonnas (Ecclesall Road) are both great Italian restaurants, if you have the time (and love Italian food as much as I do) – try both!
The Cricket Inn in Totley borders the peak district national park and Sheffield. Fantastic wines and ales, they also have a gastro-pub style menu to die for.
Thyme cafe in Broomhill is committed to sourcing the very best ingredients directly from markets and local suppliers to offer great quality food to their diners – reflected in a daily changing blackboard menu.

The Greystones is a great place for good ale and great live music – check out their website to find out what’s on.
Coming to Sheffield by train? If you are, you won’t be able to miss the Sheffield Tap – this station based bar has rapidly become a Sheffield institution! It’s know for an amazing selection of real ales and even has it’s own brewery!!!
