The Hathersage bed is a real show stopper. A contemporary, solid wood bed with a chunky frame and tall headboard. It is available here in solid, oiled walnut, in a standard UK kingsize (fits a 150x200cm mattress).
This bed base is already made and has been on display in our Sheffield showroom for a couple of years. Please note: the timber has lightened and warmed slightly since it was originally photographed, and there may be some signs of minor wear and tear. Please contact us if you would like any further information.

Available here in solid, oiled walnut, the Hathersage features a chunky design, paired with a tall headboard boasting an elegant chevron detail. The generous headboard on this bed allows for maximum pillow real estate! Creating a striking, eye-catching look for your bed base.
This ex-display Hathersage is a standard UK kingsize (fits a 150x200cm mattress). Our zero-VOC oiled finish has a slight tint that enhances the grain and colour of the timber. Here, you can see it brings out the warmth of the walnut. This finish is usually only provided upon request for an additional fee of £75.00 per bed base. Like our standard lacquer, the oil protects the timber from grease marks and some stains. It is hard-wearing and doesn’t require reapplication.
All our wooden beds are fitted as standard with sprung beech slats for extra comfort, and to also help increase the life of your mattress.
