This bed base features a compact footprint, making it perfect if you’d like a big bed in a small space. The mattress sits flush with the edges of this bed base on the sides and foot-end. Part of our classic Nevada collection, the Sahara boasts a minimal design. Timeless in its simplicity, it is also easy to style your way, to your taste. Available here is a pre-made, quick ship cherry Sahara bed in a standard UK kingsize (150x200cm). Handmade in solid cherry timber.
If you like the style of the Sahara, but would prefer a low bed, take a look at the Sonora bed base. The full Nevada collection also features our Nevada, Malabar and Tibet bed bases. Any beds ordered from the main product pages would be subject to our standard lead time.
Our solid wooden beds are fitted with sprung beech slats as standard. These provide extra comfort and increase the life of your mattress. This bed is also supplied with non-slip matting to keep your mattress in place.

Lacquer Finish: Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.

Mattress Depth Information: Our bed bases are designed to fit a mattress depth of around 20cm. This bed base is pre-made and cannot be altered; it is pictured with a mattress that is around 20cm deep. If your mattress is much deeper than this, you may want to consider having your bed customised to suit a deeper mattress. Any custom bed bases much be purchased on our standard lead time - please do get in touch if you would like to discuss.

Our prices include delivery on the UK mainland
Within the Sheffield area we deliver using our own vehicle. Outside the Sheffield area we use a carrier. Once your order is ready, we’ll contact you regarding your delivery. Delivery will be on an agreed weekday between 8am and 6pm. In some cases it may be possible to deliver on a Saturday or on a specified day – for an extra charge – please contact us for details.
