Here at Natural Bed Company, we always do everything we can to ensure that delivery of any product you order from us runs as smoothly as possible. Whether it is a bed, mattress or items from our extensive range of furniture. We deliver locally, nationally and also internationally, using a range of delivery services. To give an overview of how our delivery processes work, I’ll take a look at each of the options we offer.
For bed orders being delivered in the Sheffield area, we deliver ourselves. For multiple items (including mattresses), we will generally use our national courier (see further down). Your bed base will be taken to the room of your choice, unpacked and the packaging removed. And for a £40.00 surcharge, it can be assembled. Deliveries can be arranged Monday-Friday with a 2 hour time-slot between 10am and 3pm.
For orders outside of the Sheffield area, delivery will take place with BJS Extra. The service includes room of choice delivery, along with unpack and disposal of packaging.
BJS collects from our workshop once per week, usually on a Monday or Tuesday. When you place your order, we will provide an estimate of the week that we expect your order will be collected, and we will follow up closer to the time to confirm the exact date.
Once your order has been despatched, delivery is estimated to occur within 7 working days (10 working days for remote areas) – more often than not, non-remote areas will receive delivery in the same week their order is despatched! As mentioned on our product pages, our beds are delivered flat-pack for easy self-assembly. However, if you do want to have the bed assembled for you, BJS do offer this service for a base fee of *£63.00. It is important to note that BJS’s crews are not NBC-trained staff, and as such, they may not have assembled one of our beds before – they will be following the instructions in the same way a customer would. Unfortunately, BJS do not currently offer assembly for non-NBC-made items.
*Please contact us for a quote – many of our designs are covered under the base fee mentioned, but there are a few that our courier charges more for!
