Delivery Information

Here is an overview of the various delivery methods we use to deliver our goods to you:

Bed & Large Furniture Deliveries: Furdeco – 2 Man, Room-of-choice Delivery

For all our national bed base, sofa-bed and mattress deliveries on the British mainland we use Furdeco.

This delivery company offers a 2-man, room of choice delivery service and will contact you directly to arrange a date and an estimated 3-hour time-slot. Please note, this time slot is subject to change, you will receive a final confirmation of the slot the day prior to your agreed delivery date. You will also receive a phone call when the crew is 30-60 minutes away on the day of your delivery.

Delivery Dates & Time Slots

You will be given an estimated despatch date at the point of order, and we will be in touch as soon your order is ready to confirm the exact despatch date. Please note, we cannot confirm delivery dates prior to despatch.

Furdeco arrange their deliveries via text message and email. The date offered will be the soonest slot available for your post-code area. (NB: A date and estimated time slot will be offered via text and email, and the time slot will then be confirmed the evening prior to the delivery date.)
The first delivery date offered will not be more than 10 working days after your collection date, for all non-remote post-code areas. If the date offered is not suitable for you, you will have the opportunity to let the couriers know and arrange an alternative. Though you will receive a 3-hour time slot for delivery, we do advise that customers make someone available at the delivery address for the full day of delivery, just in the event of any unforeseen changes.

Please note: if a mobile number has not been provided at the point of order, the courier will provide confirmation of your delivery date and time slot via email only. We recommend that you check your emails in the week of despatch to keep an eye out for their delivery updates. If you would prefer text message updates, please ensure that a mobile number is provided.

Remote Postcodes

The time-scale for delivery to remote area post-codes is extended to 14 working days. Please see below for a full list of remote area postcodes:

Unpack Service

On delivery, Furdeco will take your goods to the room of your choice, and unpack each item, if requested. If you do request they unpack, they will also take away any packaging. Please note – we would advise requesting the unpack service wherever possible. If declined, Furdeco will not accept responsibility for damage in transit.

The unpack service is offered as standard and does not cost any extra. You will simply need to ask the crew to unpack when they get to your property.

Assembly Service

As standard, your bed will be delivered to you ready for self-assembly. Furdeco can assemble your bed upon delivery for a charge of £60.00* (price per hour). This is based on an assembly time of no more than 1 hour. If you require the assembly of multiple beds this charge may increase – please contact us for further pricing details. The couriers also request that parking is available for the duration of the delivery time slot, in order for them to complete your assembly.

Local Delivery

For bed, bedroom furniture and mattress deliveries within Sheffield and the surrounding area, we deliver in our own van. These deliveries can be arranged Monday – Friday, generally with a 2 hour time-slot. Each item will be taken to the room of your choice, though furniture is delivered for self-assembly.

We can arrange for your bed to be assembled upon delivery, however this will incur a charge of £40.00

For local deliveries, we will contact you as soon as your order is ready to be dispatched and aim to deliver in the same week as your contact date.

International Delivery

We can deliver our bed bases internationally. Please contact us for a quote and our current lead times. In order to provide a delivery price we will need the following information:

– a delivery address
– the model of bed base you are interested in
– the size of bed base required
– your preferred timber choice

It is not possible for us to ship mattresses out of the country – they are too susceptible to damage in transit. In addition, certain pieces from the Black Lotus and Ethnicraft ranges exceed the maximum weight limits for our delivery company. This will be mentioned on the product page if applicable.

If you live outside the UK, VAT can be removed from the cost of the bed and from the shipping cost. When we provide your quote we will include VAT where relevant, or remove VAT if you are exempt from paying British VAT.

NB: Our International carriers provide proof of export meaning we are able not to charge VAT. However, if you use your own carriers we are required to charge VAT, but this can be refunded when you/your carriers provide us with proof of export. In this case you may then be required to pay your local rate of sales tax and any other relevant taxes (import duties etc).

Bedding, Loungewear & Homewares Delivery etc.

All our bedding, homewares, toiletries etc are priced to include delivery within the mainland UK – there are no further delivery charges for these items. If you would like us to quote for delivery outside the mainland UK please let us know – we are happy to do so.

For the majority of our parcels we use a Tracked 48 service with Royal Mail, and once processed and packaged, we arrange for the parcels to be collected on the next working day.

High value items, bulkier home-wares, and larger, multiple piece orders are usually sent via Parcelforce. This is a forty-eight hour service, with delivery aimed to take place two days after the collection date.

You can also opt for an expedited service, if you would prefer. You can select this option for an additional cost at checkout, which aims to deliver within 1-2 working days.

Please note, we process orders within our working hours (Monday-Saturday, 10am-5:30pm). We aim to process orders as soon as possible, with collection booked to occur the day after processing.
