New: the drawers now have metal, soft close runners.

About the Black Lotus Collection:

Exclusive to Natural Bed Company, the Black Lotus Collection of solid oak bedroom storage was designed by Peter Bennion. Made up of high quality, stylish storage solutions; beautifully crafted for us by an eco-conscious manufacturer in Europe. To name a few of their eco credentials: they use solar power for over 70% of their energy consumption; for every tree used to produce furniture, 10 more are planted; all off-cuts are made into wooden pellets for heating, so no waste!

NB: This collection was previously made for us in Vietnam, it is now produced in small batches by an eco-friendly European company. They use a species of oak which is not an exact match to the range we had a couple of years ago. The oak here has a slightly warmer hue and variety in grain and shade. This Cube storage unit has a slightly more natural look with occassional small knots or silver figure (medullary rays) enhancing the unique quality of each piece.

The photography shown here is of the new collection made in Europe.

Materials: The top, sides and drawer fronts are in solid timber, the infill panels e.g. to the rear and the drawer bases – are veneered MDF (in compliance with EU16516).
