Our Kyoto bed is our most popular low bed. It can give your room a truly Oriental feel. This solid oak bed is available in a king-size (fits a 150x200cm mattress), and is ready for quick-ship (1 – 2 weeks + delivery).

Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in the tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
All our wooden beds are fitted as standard with sprung beech slats for extra comfort, and to increase the life of your mattress.

Mattress Depth Information: Our bed bases are designed to fit a mattress depth of around 20cm. We can customise this bed by adding a little extra timber to the headboard panel. However, this would not be possible for this sale bed as production is already completed. Please contact us directly if you are interested in purchasing a custom Kyoto on our standard lead time.

Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a carrier. Delivery is arranged with the carrier once your order is ready, and will be on an agreed day and time slot.
Within the Sheffield area, we deliver using our own vehicle. Once your order is ready to be delivered, we will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time slot.

All of our beds and furniture made by us are handmade to order - our usual lead time is around 8 weeks (+ delivery). This can fluctuate throughout the year, please do get in touch for the most up to date information.
We have a small workshop in Sheffield where all of our beds and the furniture made by us are hand crafted by our skilled woodworkers.

Yes! Most of our handmade items can be tweaked with a variety of customisations. Please get in touch with our friendly sales team with your idea and we’ll let you know what is possible and provide a bespoke quote.
All of our bed bases are delivered flat pack for easy self assembly - we include our full range of assembly instructions online so you can see how straight forward this is! All of our tables are delivered as one piece, so no assembly would be required. Our under-bed drawers simply require the small castors screwing into place.
Our showroom is based in Sheffield city centre. We try to keep a variety of designs and timber son display, but if you’re hoping to see something specific, please do get in touch before your visit.
