We have a stock Canterbury four poster bed available here on an expedited lead time. This solid ash bed is a UK superking (fits a 180 x 200cm mattress). This bed is available due to a last minute order cancellation, and has not been on display. It was assembled briefly at our showroom for photography/filming purposes only.

Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
All our wooden beds are fit as standard with sprung beech slats for extra comfort, and to also help increase the life of your mattress.

Mattress Depth Information: This bed has been photographed with a mattress that is around 20cm deep.
If you have a much deeper mattress than this, we can customise the design by adding to height of the headboard legs and raising the position of the headboard panel. However, please note that we cannot alter stock beds, so you would need to purchase this design on the standard lead in time if you would like the headboard height altering.

Lead in times: our bed bases (and a select few furniture items) are hand made to order in our Sheffield workshop. The lead in time is usually 8 weeks (+ delivery), which can fluctuate throughout the year – get in touch for the latest info. Please note that ex-display/stock beds, sofa beds, mattresses and some Ethnicraft furniture have differing lead in times, which you will find noted in the description above.
Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a national carrier called BJS. You will be provided an estimated despatch date shortly after your order is placed, and the courier will be in touch with you directly to arrange the delivery date and time slot after they have collected your order.
For customers based in Sheffield, we usually perform delivery in our own vehicle. However, some items are excluded and will instead be shipped with our standard courier, BJS.

We despatch all of our small items via Royal Mail or ParcelForce. Prices include delivery to mainland UK with an aim to deliver within 3-5 working days.
You can opt for an expedited service, if you would prefer. You can select this option for an additional cost at checkout, which then aims to deliver within 1-2 working days.
Please note, we process and pack orders Monday-Saturday between 10am-5pm, excluding bank holidays. We aim to process orders as soon as possible, with collection booked to occur the day after processing.
