The Kyoto day-bed with sprung mattress combines a minimalist, Japanese-style base with a soft and supportive sprung, upholstered mattress. This incredibly comfy day-bed is a luxurious addition to your lounge or bedroom – working as additional seating, and also a useful extra single bed.

Lacquer Finish:
Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish is named for its clarity. Not only does it allow you to appreciate the myriad of colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber, but it also protects the timber from grease marks and some stains. It has a subtle, soft sheen finish.
Our prices include delivery on the UK mainland Within the Sheffield area we deliver using our own vehicle. Outside the Sheffield area we use a carrier. When your order is ready we’ll contact you regarding your delivery. Following this, delivery will be on an agreed weekday between 8am and 6pm. All of our beds and furniture made by us are handmade to order - our usual lead time is around 8 weeks (+ delivery). This can fluctuate throughout the year, please do get in touch for the most up to date information.
We have a small workshop in Sheffield where all of our beds and the furniture made by us are hand crafted by our skilled woodworkers.

Yes! Most of our handmade items can be tweaked with a variety of customisations. Please get in touch with our friendly sales team with your idea and we’ll let you know what is possible and provide a bespoke quote.
All of our bed bases are delivered flat pack for easy self assembly - we include our full range of assembly instructions online so you can see how straight forward this is! All of our tables are delivered as one piece, so no assembly would be required. Our under-bed drawers simply require the small castors screwing into place.
Our showroom is based in Sheffield city centre. We try to keep a variety of designs and timber son display, but if you’re hoping to see something specific, please do get in touch before your visit.
