Our new Osaka day bed is available here with a sprung mattress and matching bolster cushion in Larmony Anthracite (other colour options may be available for the mattress, please contact us for details). This incredibly comfortable, walnut day-bed can be used to relax on, or as additional seating or a useful extra single bed.

A new addition to our range, the Osaka Day Bed with sprung mattress combines a minimalist, Japandi design with a soft and supportive sprung, upholstered mattress. This incredibly comfy day-bed is a luxurious addition to your lounge or bedroom – working as additional seating, and also a useful extra single bed.
It is photographed above with the mattress upholstered in Larmony Anthracite. We do have a number of stock mattresses available to pair with this bed. Available here on an expedited lead time, this walnut Osaka Day Bed is available on a lead time of 1 -2 weeks (+ delivery). If you would prefer to order a new day bed in a different timber or in another fabric choice, please see the original product page (linked below). It has not been on display – it was brought to our showroom for photography only.
Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in the tone of natural timber. It also retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
All our wooden beds are fitted as standard with sprung beech slats for extra comfort, and to help increase the life of your mattress. We also supply non-slip matting with this bed base to keep the mattress in place.

All of our prices listed include delivery within the mainland UK.
Lead in times: our bed bases (and a select few furniture items) are hand made to order in our Sheffield workshop. The lead in time is usually 8 weeks (+ delivery), which can fluctuate throughout the year – get in touch for the latest info. Please note that ex-display/stock beds, sofa beds, mattresses and some Ethnicraft furniture have differing lead in times, which you will find noted in the description above.
Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a national carrier called BJS. You will be provided an estimated despatch date shortly after your order is placed, and the courier will be in touch with you directly to arrange the delivery date and time slot after they have collected your order.
For customers based in Sheffield, we usually perform delivery in our own vehicle. However, some items are excluded and will instead be shipped with our standard courier, BJS.

We despatch all of our small items via Royal Mail or ParcelForce. Prices include delivery to mainland UK with an aim to deliver within 3-5 working days.
You can opt for an expedited service, if you would prefer. You can select this option for an additional cost at checkout, which then aims to deliver within 1-2 working days.
Please note, we process and pack orders Monday-Saturday between 10am-5pm, excluding bank holidays. We aim to process orders as soon as possible, with collection booked to occur the day after processing.
