A soft long-haired sheepskin originating from Iceland. Each sheepskin is completely unique and can therefore vary in both colour and appearance. The back is in natural uncoloured leather.
For light cleaning: Vacuum clean, use cloth roll or wipe away with sponge and lukewarm water. Shake and pluck the sheepskin regularly to maintain lustre and shape, preferably on a day when there is moisture in the air. Do not expose the sheepskin to strong heat or direct sunlight.
For deeper cleaning: Wash leather runs with wool length up to 35mm but full-length leather on the wool should be avoided to be washed in the machine. Highly soiled skin should be soaked in cold water before washing. Wash the machine and choose 30 degrees wiping programs. Always use plenty of water. Please centrifuge but avoid drying and absolutely no drying with heat. Do not use bleach or rinse aid. The sheep / lamb skin is hanged or dried flat at room temperature. Work (pull and rub) the skin while still moist to maintain the smoothness of the skin. The skin must not be ironed. The sheepskin can also be cleaned by a specialist. Do not expose the sheep skin to strong heat or direct sunlight.
