The Wentworth Latex Hybrid Mattresses are available in three different spring counts. A combination of luxury Talalay latex and supportive pocket springs for unique comfort. Choose from either Soft (1600 springs), Medium (1500 springs) or Firm (2000 springs), depending on your preference – more information on each of the firmnesses can be found below.

The Wentworth hybrid latex mattresses offer the best of both worlds. Combining cooling, pressure relieving Talalay latex and pocket springs to provide a unique feel and supportive surface. Choose from two different firmnesses/spring counts depending on your preference;
– 1600 pocket springs (based on a kingsize model) with edge support (extra springs on the edges for support when getting in and out of bed) – 50mm of Frg4 density Talalay latex for a plush, sumptuous sleeping surface – A softer feel, this mattress is on the softer side of ‘medium’ – while feeling comfortably supportive when laying down, it feels soft when sitting down on the mattress.
– 1500 pocket springs (based on a kingsize model) with edge support (extra springs on the edges for support when getting in and out of bed) – 40mm of Talalay latex for a plush sleeping surface with a little more resistance than the ‘soft’ option – A true medium feel, this mattress is comfortable and sumptuous, with a good balance of a cushioned surface and supportive core
– 2000 pocket springs (based on a kingsize model) with edge support (extra springs on the edges for support when getting in and out of bed) – 40mm of filling including 20mm of eco (UK sourced/recycled) foam and 20mm of Talalay latex – Firm feel

Talalay latex is considered the most breathable latex on the market today. It is resistant to mold, mildew and dust mites. A highly durable material that offers a buoyant feeling of support. Talalay latex is infused with graphite to be truly Fire Retardant while chemical free, the graphite also has cooling properties not present in standard latex. The rebound/reflex of the Talalay latex is far superior to other products, this allows for a deep sleep. Also helping people stay asleep longer as they don’t wake up when moving in the bed. All in all it’s an ideal material for mattresses!

Lead in times: our bed bases (and a select few furniture items) are hand made to order in our Sheffield workshop. The lead in time is usually 8 weeks (+ delivery), which can fluctuate throughout the year – get in touch for the latest info. Please note that ex-display/stock beds, sofa beds, mattresses and some Ethnicraft furniture have differing lead in times, which you will find noted in the description above.
Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a national carrier called BJS. You will be provided an estimated despatch date shortly after your order is placed, and the courier will be in touch with you directly to arrange the delivery date and time slot after they have collected your order.
For customers based in Sheffield, we usually perform delivery in our own vehicle. However, some items are excluded and will instead be shipped with our standard courier, BJS.

We despatch all of our small items via Royal Mail or ParcelForce. Prices include delivery to mainland UK with an aim to deliver within 3-5 working days.
You can opt for an expedited service, if you would prefer. You can select this option for an additional cost at checkout, which then aims to deliver within 1-2 working days.
Please note, we process and pack orders Monday-Saturday between 10am-5pm, excluding bank holidays. We aim to process orders as soon as possible, with collection booked to occur the day after processing.
