Is it too early? Or dare we mention Christmas?!!!
We are getting ready here at Natural Bed Company: we have just taken one of our beds out of the front window in preparation for the Christmas gifts display. We have huge paper snowflakes and bells to decorate the window, the Christmas trees have arrived and the cards are out to buy.
That doesn’t mean the beds take second place to the home accessories and gifts though….Amanda is making preparations with our delivery companies to ensure we can deliver our beds well into December! With bed order-times currently at 4-5weeks, she has been reminding customers to order now for a guaranteed Christmas delivery.
The shop has a different feel to it on the run up to Christmas. We love the calm, relaxed atmosphere that customers often comment on during the rest of the year. But the energy in the store during the festive period gets everyone feeling ‘Christmassy’! The other joy of working here at Christmas is that we find some great gift solutions right on our door-step (well, in the shop actually!!) With this in mind I’ve asked the counter staff to give us their tips for great Natural Bed Company gifts this year…..
Matt has got his eye on a pair of Glerups slippers (he hasn’t made it clear if this if for a gift or for himself!), he particularly likes the teal colour (hint, hint). They are made of thick felted wool and should keep ones toes snug in the coldest of winters.
Amanda suggests the Spineless Classics prints are a great idea: an entire classic literary work made in to a bold art-print. They have brought out lots of new designs this year (I think she has hopes of filling a wall!), including the very festive: ‘A Christmas Carol’. As the posters also come in a large, sturdy cardboard tube they are perfect for posting!
I suggest taking a look at our Bringing It All Back Home site, here you can find a range of unusual Indian crafts from carved Buddha heads, statues and vases to silk wall-hangings – perfect for that person who has everything!
Chris loves our new collection of stationery, including Moleskin sketching sets, brightly coloured journals, boxes of note-cards and pencil sets. While Mike has found some great ideas in our Pantone themed collection of gifts, including wall-art, magnet boards, note-books, mugs and even chairs! Contact the store on 0114 272 1984 to find out more.
Another aspect to consider in our Christmas preparations: Kay has asked me to remind you that now is the perfect time to look at our bedding (and there are some fantastic special offers on our Sale Bedding page!) – with all those guests coming to stay over at Christmas I think she’s right!
I hope you find some of these ideas helpful, after all here at Natural Bed Company we want you all to have a wonderful stress-free Christmas. (And if this involves a new bed to ensure you wake up refreshed on Christmas morning – do get in touch soon!!!)
