Hot colours for warm nights

We have a wide range of soft cotton duvet covers and lightly, quilted bedspreads in rich, warm tones – perfect for an exotic bedroom design, inspired by an Eastern palette. Our new Ashland duvet cover and Shanti quilt are a fresh and contemporary take on this look – tones of fashionable salmon pink are softened with a fresh ivory shade. These pieces are designed and made by the Jay Street Block Print Company – they create their designs in New York and have them crafted, using traditional techniques, in India.

Our Red Madras and Kalamkari Gold patchwork duvet covers are made in India, exclusively for Natural Bed Company. These duvet covers are perfect for a more Bohemian look. They particularly suit our Samarkand bed in wenge stained tulip wood. Complement with decoration in sand or terracotta tones, and add a clutch of coloured tea-light holders and glittering lanterns.

If you are looking for a more luxurious take on this style try the silk Pha Tung duvet cover in flame red and burnt orange, or the embroidered silk Kashmir duvet cover in gold. The Zari duvet covers in mango or russet are made from fine cottons, with brocade details – either colour-way would work well with the Kadi Gold or Sahara quilted patchwork bedspreads. These bedspreads can be used on their own with just a sheet on the warmest evenings, or as an additional layer over a duvet when the weather turns cool.

Keeping fresh with cool coloured bedding

From indigo to cobalt to teal – we have a a shade of vibrant blue bedding to suit your scheme. The latest additions to our collection are from the Jay Street Block Print Company – the Hira duvet cover and pillowcases have a modern pattern inspired by traditional Indian block print designs. The Indigo Shanti quilts are 100% cotton, shown below in dark Indigo cotton stitched in ivory, with a blue and ivory edging. Both the Hira or the Shanti would suit many looks, from an exotic Asian look to a rustic, ‘country cottage’ style.
The Blue Floral embroidered duvet cover and Kalamkari Squares duvet cover also suit a pretty ‘cottage’ decor. Simple white walls, a solid oak bed and a wooden floor would complete the look.

The coastal look is always a popular summer style and our Kadi Sky bedspread is perfect for this. Complete the coastal look with an Orchid four poster in maple, ash or oak.
