Here at Natural Bed Company we regularly receive emails from potential customers, from both the UK and abroad. Often, they are interested in our bed frames and mattresses, but wishing to purchase non UK standard sizes. Initially we added the Euro-king size,160x200cm, to both our mattress and bed ranges to meet this new demand. This proved to be very popular. Due to this, we have now expanded our mattress size selection. It now includes the Euro-double(140x200cm), which we hope will be as well received!

Current Range

Currently, we have limited the Euro-double option to our range of mattresses. However, if you were interested in a bed frame in this size, please give us a call or email and we can provide a quote. To give you an idea of the expected cost we would anticipate a price similar to that of a standard UK kingsize (150x200cm). Given the similar amounts and sizes of timber involved in production.

As a rule, we keep only the most popular sizes of mattress in stock: double135x190cm, king 150x200cm, and super-king 180x200cm. For the moment, the euro-double will be ordered as and when necessary. As a result you should expect a lead time of 2-4 weeks. This is for mattresses such as the Waterlattex, Orthosoft, Cotton Chic, Relaxsan, Moon, Memotouch, Memory Firm and Memory Medium mattresses. Our made-to-order futon mattresses taking 3 weeks and the Organic Latex mattress 4-6 weeks.

As you can see from the extensive list above, we can offer the euro-double in all the mattress models featured in our current range so whichever mattress you decide on you won’t be disappointed and find that it is not available in your preferred size.

Custom Sizes

If you are interested in a non-standard or European size not listed on our on our website, this does not mean that they are not available to order from our suppliers, you may just be the first to ask! Let us know the size you require and we will be in touch with a quote as soon as we can.

Although not a standard size here in the UK, you should not have any trouble finding bedding to fit. A double size flat sheet is usable with a euro-double along with either standard UK double or king duvet, depending on personal preference.

      Thank you for your comment.
      Unfortunately, the only Sprung Mattresses that we carry are the Craft Medium and Craft Firm, and the manufacturer only makes these in UK Single, UK Double and UK King.
      Our Waterlattex Mattress is mostly made from Latex that has been expanded in water, giving it a very springy texture without having any springs inside. I have included a link to this product below if you would like some more information:
