At Natural Bed Company we love the holiday season – lots of exciting new home-wares and gifts, arriving in the shop to tempt us to spend! So we thought we’d spread the joy and let you in on some of our favourite Christmas gift ideas, all in good time to order them online and have them arrive at your door ready for wrapping!

Amanda loves all things copper (so on trend!) and we have been happy to oblige her this season – with copper photo frames, jewellery stands and copper tins containing heavenly scented candles. The scented candles make fantastic Christmas stocking fillers.

Jo is getting ready for the winter months – her suggestions include cosy throws and warm felt slippers. Jo has recently joined our sales team and is now a big fan of our Glerups slippers – she says they are the perfect balm after a day spent on your feet!
Jo’s says her problem now is deciding which throws to choose! We have such an extensive collection – from luxurious faux fur throws in various colours – including Silver Grey Wolf and Warm Brown Elk – to soft wool throws in contemporary designs from Bronte. She also loves our Soft & Cosy Blankets, they have a velvet-look, luxuriously soft fabric to one side and a fleecy fabric to the reverse. They are a great price, generously sized, incredibly soft and warm and in a range of stylish colours: silver-grey, taupe and slate.

Matt’s suggestions for Christmas gifts may be subtle hints for our secret santa! He loves the Spanish Fig collection from Bath House – the Shaving Set includes a Shaving Balm for soft and supple skin post shaving and a Shaving Oil for a smooth shave. He’s also tempted by the Spanish Fig Cleansing Gift Set that includes a Hair & Body Wash and Face Scrub, he thinks it would work really well with the Solid Walnut Body Brush Set – if Santa is feeling particularly generous!!

Chris, like Jo, is preparing well for those cold winter evenings – a classic grey marl cashmere scarf will keep him toasty. We have luxurious cashmere scarves in a range of shades of grey – at 70x200cm these scarves a large enough to keep you warm and cosy, or to use as a runner over the end of your bed. Chris also recommends the Noctua scented candles, he says they’ve made great gifts for many of his friends and family members. His favourite scent? That’s not so easy, they are all lovely! However if you are looking for tips – he says Saffron & Oud sold out the fastest last year…

Paula says Christmas is the perfect time to treat loved-ones (or yourself!) to a few of the little luxuries in life. She recommends our beautiful linen pyjamas and robes – they are wonderfully soft, high quality and of such classic designs that you will keep them for years. If your budget doesn’t extend quite as far as these, take a look at our linen slippers – great value (just £20 including P&P), ballet pump style slippers in ecru or dark lavender-grey linen.
If you are after a real treat from our collection of warm wool throws, Paula recommends the Alpaca Throws from Bronte. Alpaca fleece is a lustrous and silky natural fiber. While similar to sheep’s wool, it is warmer, not prickly, and bears no lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic! The Bronte Alpaca Throws are also incredibly stylish – available in two patterns that will suit almost any interior – neutral squares or a grey and ivory herringbone design.

And what have I added to my Christmas list? Well (as I’ve just redecorated the bathroom!) I’m hoping for some of items from our new collection by Meraki – including a beautifully scented candle in a stylish glass cup and two tempting body scrubs. To complete the look I may treat myself to a couple of dark grey Danish Design Towels and a solid wood massage body brush from the Detox Bamboo Body Care Kit (I’ll thank myself come January!)
To complete the home-spa feeling all I need is a soft, organic cotton Linum kimono robe. Available in dark grey or ivory, in three sizes – these unisex robes make a great Christmas gift.
