Coronavirus implications for ordering from or visiting Natural Bed Company

During these difficult times the safety and welfare of our customers and colleagues is our priority…

Currently we have a small number of staff at the showroom, dealing with enquiries and sending out online orders for bedding, homewares etc. A reduced number of craftsmen will be returning to our workshop to resume production on the 27th April.
We are ensuring that all appropriate hygiene and health care precautions are being taken in accordance with WHO advice including: 
– Constantly cleaning and sanitising all touched surfaces i.e. door handles, tables, cloakrooms etc.
– Team members observe a two-metre distance from colleagues as much as possible.
– We are monitoring all employees’ health very closely. A team member that presents any symptoms will not be entering any of our sites for 14 days.
– We are currently only taking payment over the phone by card, by bank transfer, or via our website.

Rest assured we are keeping in touch regularly with all our suppliers and delivery companies, and we will let you know changes to the delivery services available in the coming months.
Our delivery companies are operating a ‘contactless’ delivery service, leaving your goods outside your property. (For further information about deliveries please take a look at our recent blog.

Please bear with us, we will continue to do our best to offer the same high level of service whilst keeping everyone as safe as possible – and don’t hesitate to get in touch, our staff are ready to take telephone and e-mail enquiries and process your order.

UPDATE 20/5/2020.
We are pleased to let you know that production resumed at our workshop on Monday the 27th April. We started back with a much reduced team in order to comfortably maintain social distancing rules, bringing back more of our craftsmen as the situation allows. 
This does mean that our lead-time will be longer than usual, but as more craftsmen return – we will update our information as best we can. We currently expect new orders to have an 8-10 week lead time. However as social distancing rules relax we expect this to improve.

NB: If you have an order with us – we should now have a better (approximate) idea of your new order despatch date. We will be in touch with information as we have it. Please contact us for further information when required.
Please note – our delivery company are currently offering a 2-man delivery service to the ground floor only.
Please let us know if you would prefer to delay the production/completion of your order until our usual ‘2-man service to room of choice’ delivery service is available (please note the assembly service option is currently not available).

NB: A little bit of good news is that we have decided to postpone the price increases due to take effect next month. In gratitude for those of you ordering with an uncertain lead-time, prices will remain the same.
