Pink Clay

Love neutrals? Pink clay is a great way to add colour to your bedroom without moving too far away from your safety zone! This is a soft, warm shade of pink – ranging from a light nude tone to deeper terracotta tones.
While more sugary pinks were traditionally considered to be feminine shades this hue is much warmer, more muted and more neutral.
Not only does it work with similar tones it also works as a base for other shades. From deep burgundy or dark brown to contrasting rich khaki, or cool charcoal and navy colours.

For bed linen in this shade take a look at our organic cotton muslin look bedding in pink clay or Egyptian cotton bedding in shell. Add texture with a light cotton muslin bedspread or a textured bedding set in blush.
A faux fur throw and cushions, or knitted blanket, in this subtle hue will add a dusky warmth to your bedding scheme.

Warm Green

Deep khaki and olive tones are a great bedroom choice. They are soothing and restful while still feeling rich and indulgent.

We have various shades of warm green bedding – from light sage to dark forest green. The beauty of a warm green is that, like pink clay, it works well with a wide range of other shades. From classic white or ecru bedding to mustard yellow and blush pink – there is a rich green shade to suit.

Add to the sense of indulgence with soft cotton velvet quilts and tasseled cushions. If you are looking for a more relaxed, boho style try adding a khaki muslin bedspread or throw over pleasingly crumpled linen bedding or crisp Egyptian cotton sheets.

Cool Blue

Blue is often chosen for bedrooms – dreamy and soothing, it’s understandably a perpetual favourite. Blue bedding and walls makes a classic backdrop for a bedroom scheme and there are so many styles and colours that work well with this shade!
The current trend to add a pop of red is a favourite here. While crisp white and blue is a fresh and easy choice, a softer look may incorporate stone or cream colours. A splash of citrus yellow or rich chocolate brown can work well too.
