This kingsize (fits a 150 x 200cm mattress) Shetland has been on display in our quiet showroom and may show some minor signs of wear and tear. Its headboard is upholstered in Moon’s pure wool Parquet fabric in the shade ‘Fire’.

We have an ex-display Shetland bed available here on an expedited lead time. This sale upholstered bed is a UK king-size (fits a 150 x 200cm mattress). It is made from solid cherry wood. Its headboard is upholstered is a pure wool – Parquet Fire from Abraham Moons.
It has been on display in our quiet showroom and is in great condition but it may show some minor signs of wear and tear. The Cherry timber has naturally matured to a rich warm tone.

Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
All our wooden beds are fit as standard with sprung beech slats for extra comfort, and to also help increase the life of your mattress.

Mattress Depth Information:
All of our upholstered bed bases are designed to fit a minimum mattress depth of around 20cm. Photographed with a mattress around 25-27cm in depth.
If you have a much deeper mattress than this, we can customise the design by adding to height of the headboard legs and raising the position of the headboard panel. However, please note that we cannot alter stock beds, so you would need to purchase this design on the standard lead in time if you would like the headboard height altering. Lead in times: our bed bases (and a select few furniture items) are hand made to order in our Sheffield workshop. The lead in time is usually 8 weeks (+ delivery), which can fluctuate throughout the year – get in touch for the latest info. Please note that ex-display/stock beds, sofa beds, mattresses and some Ethnicraft furniture have differing lead in times, which you will find noted in the description above.
Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a national carrier called BJS. You will be provided an estimated despatch date shortly after your order is placed, and the courier will be in touch with you directly to arrange the delivery date and time slot after they have collected your order.
For customers based in Sheffield, we usually perform delivery in our own vehicle. However, some items are excluded and will instead be shipped with our standard courier, BJS.

We despatch all of our small items via Royal Mail or ParcelForce. Prices include delivery to mainland UK with an aim to deliver within 3-5 working days.
You can opt for an expedited service, if you would prefer. You can select this option for an additional cost at checkout, which then aims to deliver within 1-2 working days.
Please note, we process and pack orders Monday-Saturday between 10am-5pm, excluding bank holidays. We aim to process orders as soon as possible, with collection booked to occur the day after processing.

We have a small workshop in Sheffield where all of our beds and the furniture made by us are hand crafted by our skilled woodworkers.

Yes! Most of our handmade items can be tweaked with a variety of customisations. Please get in touch with our friendly sales team with your idea and we’ll let you know what is possible and provide a bespoke quote.
All of our bed bases are delivered flat pack for easy self assembly - we include our full range of assembly instructions online so you can see how straight forward this is! All of our tables are delivered as one piece, so no assembly would be required. Our under-bed drawers simply require the small castors screwing into place.
Our showroom is based in Sheffield city centre. We try to keep a variety of designs and timber son display, but if you’re hoping to see something specific, please do get in touch before your visit.
