A special take on our modern Leith bed base. This edition is the same stylish, handmade bed, but with stripes of a contrasting timber of your choice on the Leith’s framed headboard. The lines of contrasting timber gives a slatted panel effect to the headboard, and can be made in any combination of our hardwoods. Please click here to find out more about our timbers.

This special edition of the Leith modern bed features your choice of a combination of hardwood timbers. The stylish rectilinear design shows off the beauty of the natural wood by framing the solid wooden headboard panel. This framing is further enhanced by contrasting lines of a differing timber of your choosing, which creates a slatted panel effect. The cross panels to the foot and head legs rest on small feet.
All our wooden beds are fitted with sprung beech slats for extra comfort and to increase the life of your mattress. We also supply non-slip matting with this bed base to keep your mattress in place.
Made to order. Our current lead-time is currently around 6-8 weeks (+ delivery).
Lacquer Finish: Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.

Please note: ‘Clear Pine’ is finished in our standard, natural-look lacquer. ‘Sanded Pine’ does not have any lacquer/finish at all. They do not look any different from one another, but the ‘sanded’ option does feel slightly rougher to the touch.

Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a carrier. Delivery is arranged with the carrier once your order is ready, and will be on an agreed day and time slot.
