Product Description

The Shetland is a modern classic. It is available here with a wool covered headboard, upholstered in our premium fabric option; Parquet. The handcrafted frame is available to order in your choice of hardwood timber. It can also ordered in Black Stained Oak. Please call us on 0114 272 1984 to find out more.

All our wooden beds come fitted with sprung beech slats for extra comfort and to increase the life of your mattress.

About our Upholstery Options:

The Shetland is available to order in two different fabric ranges. Here, we showcase our premium fabric option; Parquet. Parquet is a luxurious, 100% wool fabric, available in a range of contemporary colours. You can find the full colour range here on our suppliers’ website. Within the Premium Fabrics tab to the left of this page, you will find detailed images of the fabric swatches. If you would like to receive samples of any of the fabrics, please contact us.

You can also order the Shetland upholstered in our standard fabric range. You can find this here on our website.

If you would like to order this bed upholstered in your own fabric, please contact us for further information. We will require approx. 2m of plain fabric for this bed base, potentially more if your fabric is patterned. Fabrics must also comply with the appropriate Fire Retardancy certification as required.

Every bed is made to order. Our current lead-time is around 8 weeks (+ delivery).

Lacquer Finish: Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.

Mattress Depth Information:

All of our upholstered bed bases are designed to fit a mattress depth of around 20cm. If your mattress is much deeper than this, the thickness of the cushioned headboard can prevent the mattress from sitting perfectly on your bed frame and may overhang along the bottom edge slightly.

We can customise any of our upholstered bed bases by slightly raising the headboard panel in line with the depth of your mattress - Most small alterations do not require any additional cost.

Please do let us know your mattress depth at the time of order and we can confirm if any alterations are required and if there would be any additional cost involved!

Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a carrier. Delivery is arranged with the carrier once your order is ready, and will be on an agreed day and time slot.

Within the Sheffield area, we deliver using our own vehicle. Once your order is ready to be delivered, we will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time slot.
