About Our Kapok Filled Pillows:
Kapok contains naturally occurring bitter-compounds in its fibres. These make this material unattractive to dust mites and other creepy crawlies.
Kapok fibres are naturally coated with a type of wax which means that no moisture is retained or absorbed and therefore helps your pillow to stay dry.
Kapok grows wild in tropical forests without the need for any pesticides. Kapok trees are vital for the local economies which is why they are not felled and hence help with preserving tropical forests.
Care Instructions: The cover can be machine washed at 40 degrees. As kapok is a plant fibre the filling does not need to be removed before washing it. However, please make sure the filling is thoroughly dried after washing.
