The Arran bed base is a modern classic. Characterised by an upholstered headboard, available in your choice of fabric. The headboard is buttoned and padded for extra comfort, and is available to order here in our standard fabric options; Amatheon, Eco Velvet & Poole. The Arran is a modern classic is available in a range of timbers. It features a cosy, wool covered headboard panel, upholstered in your choice of fabric. Here, you can order the Arran upholstered with our standard fabric options; Amatheon, Eco Velvet, Poole and Andes. Pictured above, we have the Arran photographed in solid walnut, ash and beech. The buttoned headboards are upholstered in our standard fabric range – Amatheon. We have a limited range of options shown here, but we can order any of the colours available in the current Amatheon, Eco Velvet, Poole and Andes collections.

Every bed is made to order. Our lead-time is usually around 8 weeks (+ delivery). This can fluctuate throughout the year, please do get in touch for the most up to date information.

Amatheon – 70% Wool, 25% Polyamide, 5% Acrylic The Amatheon fabric is a solid, opaque fabric which boasts bold colour options. You can find the full range and order samples here on our suppliers’ website, but our most popular colours are listed below. Supplied in the UK by Warwick. Made in Italy.
Poole – 70% Wool, 25% Polyamide, 5% Other Poole is a marl-like fabric, blended with differing tones to create a myriad of colours. It also features a subtle, fine herringbone pattern. You can see the full range of colours listed below. You can also order samples here from our supplier’s website. Supplied in the UK by Warwick. Made in Italy.
Eco Velvet – Pile: 100% recycled polyester. Backing: 70% modacrylic, 25% cotton, 5% synthetic fibre Eco Velvet is Warwick’s first 100% recycled pile velvet – each meter of Eco Velvet repurposes around 30 x 550ml bottles otherwise destined for landfill. FR compliance is achieved through a clever naturally FR modacrylic blend backing, so there is no requirment for any further chemical FR treatement. Andes – 80% Polyester, 10% Acrylic, 10% Cotton Andes is a chunky boucle fabric, available in six neutral colour-ways. You can also order samples here from our supplier’s website. Supplied by Warwick.

Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in the tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
All our wooden beds come with sprung beech slats as standard; for extra comfort, and to increase the life of your mattress. We also supply non-slip matting with this design to keep your mattress in place.

Mattress Depth Information: All of our upholstered bed bases are designed to fit a mattress depth of around 20cm.
If your mattress is much deeper than this, the thickness of the cushioned headboard can prevent the mattress from sitting perfectly on your bed frame so it may overhang along the bottom edge slightly. We can customise any of our upholstered bed bases by slightly raising the position of the headboard panel to suit the depth of your mattress - most small alterations do not require any additional cost. Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a carrier. Delivery is arranged with the carrier once your order is ready, and will be on an agreed day and time slot.
Within the Sheffield area, we deliver using our own vehicle. Once your order is ready to be delivered, we will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time slot.
