Product Description

A simplistic and stylish design, this Two Tier solid oak nightstand is the ideal height to sit next to our mid-tall bed bases, such as the Bamford, Malabar or Skye. This bedside table features a minimal, timeless design, which makes it easy to match with contemporary or traditional room schemes. The two tiers lend themselves well to storage for your bedside, too. Keep your glasses and your mobile phone handy on the top tier, and stash slippers, books or a rolled up blanket on the bottom tier. The top tier also incorporates a small storage drawer!

Made from solid oak with an oiled finish, this nightstand is slightly darker in tone than our own oak timber. However, as oak natural warms and deepens over time, we feel these will make a great match together. You can find our full range of bedroom furniture here.

About This Oak Furniture Collection

The maker’s story began in 2008 in Finland, when they used their passion for real wood and life-enhancing design to start making durable furniture. The furniture is created in Europe, with respect to fair and ethical manufacturing.

All their furniture is made in EU countries, with solid European oak and occasionally, other types of wood. They’re also an ethical brand using environmentally friendly techniques; including controlled wood sourcing. Furthermore, when building their furniture, everything they use has EU REACH certification – this also covers oils and glues. An FSC certified, family-owned business inspired by Scandinavian design. You can expect your furniture to last for generations, with a proper level of care.

Care Instructions

These products are treated with an oil finish. The finish needs to be re-applied approx. 1-2 times a year, using a suitable furniture/wood oil, to stop the finish from drying out.

Please find an overview of the basic care instructions below;

Maintain indoor humidity at 40–60%
Temperature 14 to 26 °C
Use the products only indoors (not outdoors, on balconies, or on terraces)
Avoid direct sunlight
Kept away from radiators, air conditioners and air inlet valves
Lubricate the products 1–2 times a year or more, if necessary
Do not place hot objects directly on the wooden surface
Do not clean with chemical detergents
Reposition the product only by LIFTING
Do not drag the product on the floor or turn it upside down without lifting it properly

Large Items (beds, mattresses, tables, chests, etc.):

Lead in times: our bed bases (and a select few furniture items) are hand made to order in our Sheffield workshop. The lead in time is usually 8 weeks (+ delivery), which can fluctuate throughout the year – get in touch for the latest info.
Please note that ex-display/stock beds, sofa beds, mattresses and some Ethnicraft furniture have differing lead in times, which you will find noted in the description above.

Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a national carrier called BJS. You will be provided an estimated despatch date shortly after your order is placed, and the courier will be in touch with you directly to arrange the delivery date and time slot after they have collected your order.

For customers based in Sheffield, we usually perform delivery in our own vehicle. However, some items are excluded and will instead be shipped with our standard courier, BJS.

Small Items (bedding, homeware, clothing, etc.):

We despatch all of our small items via Royal Mail or ParcelForce. Prices include delivery to mainland UK with an aim to deliver within 3-5 working days.

You can opt for an expedited service, if you would prefer. You can select this option for an additional cost at checkout, which then aims to deliver within 1-2 working days.

Please note, we process and pack orders Monday-Saturday between 10am-5pm, excluding bank holidays. We aim to process orders as soon as possible, with collection booked to occur the day after processing.
