Autumn is a transitional season taking us from balmy evenings to chilly, wintery nights. We recommend layering your bedding during autumn so you can easily and quickly adjust your bedding to keep you feeling comfortable.
When the nights turn cold there’s nothing comfier than brushed cotton bedding. Brushed cotton bedding is blissfully soft and manages to feel warm and cosy from the moment you get into bed. As it is 100% cotton it’s also breathable so you don’t end up feeling sticky and uncomfortable when the weather is milder.We have a range of soft brushed cotton duvet sets, duvet covers, fitted sheets and pillowcases – just pick the style that suits your decor. For a classic look try the new windowpane pattern, reversible duvet sets in beige and ivory or grey and ivory. Kapok contains naturally occurring bitter-compounds in its fibres which makes this material unattractive to dust mites. It grows wild in tropical forests without the need for any pesticides. Kapok trees are vital for the local economies which is why they are not felled and hence help with preserving tropical forests. We also have Kapok filled pillows available.We can also supply the Botanic vegan duvet filled with fluffy Lyocell – these fibres are made using a process that has won ECO awards for low environmental impact. Floral no longer means a staid and familiar – the latest collection of floral printed bedding includes bold, modern tropical prints and rich Japanese inspired floral designs. Many of these duvet sets are reversible too, so you get two looks for the price of one.Below you can see a few examples from the wide range of looks available – the Watercolour Floral Print in Ochre Yellow is a modern, painterly design inspired by classic Oriental watercolour paintings.
