In this blog we’ll take a look at our walnut beds, bedside tables and storage units. Most of our bed range is available in beautiful walnut. Walnut has a dramatic grain, rich and chocolate coloured, with lighter stripes at times.
All our timber is from a legally certified source and purchased under the EUTR (European Union Timber Regulation). Our hardwoods – ash, oak, maple, cherry, walnut and beech are from the USA or northern Europe.

Our Low Walnut Beds & Bedside Tables

The stunning Oregon bed is our most popular walnut low bed. The very wide, low frame has real impact and really suits a modern New York loft look. We also make a matching Oregon table, but the low one-drawer Black Lotus Cube table also looks great with this bed.
Don’t have enough floor space for this design? Then try the Kulu or Ki models.

If you are looking for a more minimalist style our collection of Japanese look beds is a great choice. The Kyoto daybed is shown here, we also make a Kyoto bed with a headboard or the lower Kumo or Kobe bed – available with or without headboard panels.
Simple modern styles include the Sahara and Iona beds shown below.

Mid-height Walnut Beds

We have a wide range of stylish walnut beds, from classic in style to mid-century inspired to ultra modern.
My current favourite is this beautiful Hoxton bed – inspired by elegant mid 20th century design. It has curved tapering legs and a stunning chevron pattern to the headboard. Walnut is the perfect choice for this design as the natural variety in grain and tone makes for a gorgeous headboard panel.

Other popular mid-height styles in walnut are the Zanskar bed – again it has a subtle mid-century look. Our upholstered headboard beds also look great in walnut – the Arran, the Skye and the Shetland beds. Walnut works well with a wide range of fabric colours – neutrals from cream to charcoal are particularly popular.

Four Poster Walnut Beds

This stunning, solid walnut four-poster is the Raj bed. The Raj was inspired by travels to India, it cleverly combines clean, modern lines with a more classic Indian style.
The combination of styles means that it will work well with either modern or more traditional furniture looks. The Black Lotus range of bedside tables and chests of drawers is a great choice. The more traditonal Shaker look range or the more modern Cube range will suit.

Any of our four posters look wonderful in solid walnut. The Orchid and Highland beds are the clear favourites in the showroom though. Both have a clean, modern shape – the only difference is that the Highland has a padded/upholstered headboard panel, while the headboard on the Orchid is solid wood.
