What better way to wake up in the morning than by surrounded by new, colourful bedding! With what feels like the longest Winter of all time over, Summer is finally here and at Natural Bed Company we’re ready to freshen up our spaces with a new look for the warmer seasons. See some of our current favourite colourful bedding combinations below…

Yellows

Mustard yellow has been back in style for quite some time now, and we can’t see it going anywhere! Whether you’re after a fresh and modern look, or a retro 70’s feel, you can’t go wrong with this bright shade.

We’re loving the new Bamboo bedding in Ochre for an Eco-friendly, soft and durable base. We’ve paired this with a Plain Soft Quilted throw in an Olive green colour to add some contrast without straying from the fresh and vibrant feel! This bedding would also pair beautifully with a patterned throw to enhance the bohemian style, we love the new Large Cotton Bedspread in the stripe design or the Cotton Rich, Diamond Pattern Throw in Charcoal for a more laid back and simple look.
If you’re after something more traditional or less bright, we think the Leaf Print – Reversible Duvet set in Mustard Yellow paired with more muted tones such as browns and beiges like the Extra Large Merino Throw in Caramel or the Velvet Reversible Quilted Throw in Warm Caramel is the perfect combo of timeless and trendy!

Blues

If you’re after something a little cooler, we now have the highly anticipated Mosaic Duvet sets in either Navy or Teal, both sets feature a bold and modern shard design in a muted gold tone over the rich base colour!

We love to pair these with the Velvet Reversible Quilts in Teal or Navy for an almost perfect match and luxurious, boutique Hotel style. Alternatively, you could go for something a little more paired back like the Knitted Throw in Taupe to bring out that striking pattern.

Greens

As mentioned above Yellow and Green are a great combination for colourful bedding, but have you considered Green and Pink?
This may sound a little garish but a neutral blush pink shade paired with a rich dark green is a match made in heaven – not too bright, not too neutral, just the right balance to provide a beautiful look with a relaxing feel.

Here we’ve paired the Colourful Dots – Cotton Blend Duvet Set with the Reversible Textured Cotton Bedspread to bring out the slightly pink hues. These pale warm tones add a nice contrast to the rich Olive Green Velvet Cushion. This deeper tone also brings out the other vibrant colours speckled throughout the duvet cover and creates a playful look.
