Walnut, Cherry, Ash or Oak are ideal timbers for the Dalston where the different directions of the grain on the legs and stunning, chevron pattern headboard panel make for an elegant, clearly handcrafted bed. The Dalston is available in your choice of size and our full range of timbers.
The Dalston is a timeless classic bed, inspired by mid-century design. This bed base boasts a large headboard panel with a modern twist in the striking chevron patterned headboard; expertly crafted from your choice of solid wood timber. This allows the natural variation in the tones and grains of timber to take centre stage. The Dalston also features tapered legs and a tall base, giving it a grand, proud look. It is available to order here in your choice of size and our full range of timbers. Elegant, matching Cochin bedside tables can also be purchased, made with matching legs to complement the bed’s design.
If you like the style of the Dalston, but would prefer a plain headboard, why not take a look at our original Cochin Classic Bed? Alternatively, for a slightly softer look, the Hoxton is another great choice.
All our beds are fitted as standard with sprung beech slats, for extra comfort and to increase the life of your mattress.
Every bed is made to order. Our current lead-time is currently around 6-8 weeks (+ delivery).
Lacquer Finish: Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
