Available here as an ex-display model, the Westgate 4000 is a luxurious, pocket sprung mattresses with a chemical free fire retardancy treatment – biodegradable and eco-friendly ticking. A supportive pocket sprung mattress. Though this mattress has been on display at our Sheffield showroom, it is still in good condition with very minimal use/wear.
This model is a standard UK kingsize (150x200cm) and is a dual tension mattress (Medium + Firm).

Available here as an ex-display model from our quiet showroom, the Westgate 4000 is a luxury sprung mattress. Incredibly comfortable and supportive, with the added benefit of being chemical free and as such, ecologically friendly. This pocket sprung mattress incorporates 1000 (based on a king-size) full size pocket springs and 3000 smaller, body contouring pocket springs for extra comfort. This mattress also features a unique zonal edge spring system. Handles and vents to all side, the handles will help you move and turn/flip your mattress and the vents will help keep the mattress cool.
This is a dual tension mattress – so one half is a standard (medium) comfort and the other half have a firm feel – perfect for couples with differing preferences! This mattress does not contain traditional chemical FR treatments – instead the ticking is treated with M-PURE – an ecofriendly, non-toxic, biological treatment from Maes. This natural fire retardant utilises a raw material produced from the dairy industry. With the launch of M-PURE, Maes Mattress Ticking have successfully created a non-chemical FR treatment by using Bio-based ingredients for the compound.
Upholstery Materials: Layered with temperature regulating fine English spun cotton, locally sourced Hampshire Wool, luxury silk and cashgora.A single black tuft signifies the wool inside is Hampshire wool, it’s black because the sheep have black faces! A little-known fact is that Hampshire sheep produce softer wool than sheep in colder parts of the UK.

All of our prices listed include delivery within the mainland UK.
Lead in times: our bed bases (and a select few furniture items) are hand made to order in our Sheffield workshop. The lead in time is usually 8 weeks (+ delivery), which can fluctuate throughout the year – get in touch for the latest info. Please note that ex-display/stock beds, sofa beds, mattresses and some Ethnicraft furniture have differing lead in times, which you will find noted in the description above.
Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a national carrier called BJS. You will be provided an estimated despatch date shortly after your order is placed, and the courier will be in touch with you directly to arrange the delivery date and time slot after they have collected your order.
For customers based in Sheffield, we usually perform delivery in our own vehicle. However, some items are excluded and will instead be shipped with our standard courier, BJS.

We despatch all of our small items via Royal Mail or ParcelForce. Prices include delivery to mainland UK with an aim to deliver within 3-5 working days.
You can opt for an expedited service, if you would prefer. You can select this option for an additional cost at checkout, which then aims to deliver within 1-2 working days.
Please note, we process and pack orders Monday-Saturday between 10am-5pm, excluding bank holidays. We aim to process orders as soon as possible, with collection booked to occur the day after processing.
