This solid walnut 1-drawer unit is part of our Black Lotus Collection of solid oak and walnut bedroom storage. A modern, low Cube unit – it has been designed to be the half the width of a standard UK double bed (which is 135cm wide). Place two together at the end of your double bed (or larger) to use as an end-of-bed storage bench, alternatively use them as stylish, low, bedside drawer tables. This unit has a low shelf – the ideal place to store your slippers – and a handy, slim drawer. This contemporary storage bench is made of solid walnut with a coating of clear lacquer in a soft matte finish.

Exclusive to Natural Bed Company, the Black Lotus Collection of solid walnut bedroom storage was designed by Peter Bennion. Made up of high quality, stylish storage solutions; beautifully crafted for us by an eco-conscious manufacturer in Europe.

NB: This collection was previously made for us in Vietnam, it is now produced in small batches by an eco-friendly European company. They use a different species of walnut to the company in Vietnam – this collection therefore is not an exact match to the range we had a couple of years ago. This Cube bedside table has a slightly more natural look, with a greater variety of tone and grain. These units have a warmer hue – similar to our walnut after it has aged for a while.
Materials: The top, sides and drawer fronts are in solid timber, the infill panels e.g. to the rear and the drawer bases – are veneered MDF (in compliance with EU16516).

All of our prices listed include delivery within the mainland UK.
Lead in times: our bed bases (and a select few furniture items) are hand made to order in our Sheffield workshop. The lead in time is usually 8 weeks (+ delivery), which can fluctuate throughout the year – get in touch for the latest info. Please note that ex-display/stock beds, sofa beds, mattresses and some Ethnicraft furniture have differing lead in times, which you will find noted in the description above.
Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a national carrier called BJS. You will be provided an estimated despatch date shortly after your order is placed, and the courier will be in touch with you directly to arrange the delivery date and time slot after they have collected your order.
For customers based in Sheffield, we usually perform delivery in our own vehicle. However, some items are excluded and will instead be shipped with our standard courier, BJS.

We despatch all of our small items via Royal Mail or ParcelForce. Prices include delivery to mainland UK with an aim to deliver within 3-5 working days.
You can opt for an expedited service, if you would prefer. You can select this option for an additional cost at checkout, which then aims to deliver within 1-2 working days.
Please note, we process and pack orders Monday-Saturday between 10am-5pm, excluding bank holidays. We aim to process orders as soon as possible, with collection booked to occur the day after processing.
