At Natural Bed Company, we have always done everything we can to give our customers the best possible design, quality and price all year round. Despite multiple increases from our timber suppliers, increases in transport costs and energy prices – we have managed to swallow these higher costs over the last few years to keep our bed prices the same. We’re sorry to say that it is no longer possible for us to continue this way and the price of our beds will be increased soon to reflect the most recent costs from our timber supplier.

In this blog, I’ll go through the main points you need to keep in mind if you are considering purchasing a Natural Bed Company bed in the next couple of weeks…

When will the price go up?

We estimate that the final day that we can keep our current pricing will be Tuesday the 8th of November. You can rest assured that any orders placed up until 5:30pm on this date will be at our current pricing. Which leads me into my next point…

Can I have a discount?

We are a fairly small independent business, where every bed base is hand made to order in our Sheffield workshop. Our mark ups are much smaller than bigger brands in order to pay our staff a fair wage and offer you the best price. We therefore cannot offer discounts on our bed bases. It will also not be possible to honour previous prices or quotes sent to you once the deadline above is reached.
I’d recommend reading through our Why we don’t have January Sales blog post. This will give you further information on our pricing and why we cannot apply discounts to most orders!

What do I need to do to secure the current price?

Place an order before 5:30pm on Tuesday the 8th of November!
Once you have your bed design, size and timber chosen, you can place your order in a number of ways. The easiest of which being through our website, where you can make payment in full. Alternatively, you can order over the phone by calling us on 0114 272 1984. Or via bank transfer if you contact us via email. Please note that bank transfers can take multiple days and orders are only placed once payment is recieved. With these methods, only a 10% deposit would be required to secure the current price. This would also reserve your slot in the production queue and have the timber ordered in.

Still not sure?

Of course, you can always get in touch if you have any further queries. From anything about our bed bases, the prices or the current lead time (currently around 9 weeks for delivery in January). Our sales team are always happy to help!
