If you’ve been following us for a while, you might have heard that our Black Lotus range has recently been restocked! Long-time favourites with our customers, Black Lotus is Natural Bed Company’s core range of bedroom furniture. The range consists of two collections; Cube and Shaker. Both offer classic, contemporary design and are easy to match with our handmade wooden beds. The Cube collection boasts a geometric, ‘cube’ style profile, whereas the Shaker gives a slightly more traditional look; with longer legs and a taller profile.
The Black Lotus range has been a part of NBC for decades. Originally made for us by a small, family run company in Vietnam, they are now made by a new manufacturer, based in Europe with great eco-credentials. Our Shaker collection is now available in a new, luxe Smoked Walnut lacquer finish. Deeper and richer than the standard finish, it accentuates walnut’s naturally dark, varied tones. A striking, rich dark brown colour, it gives a new, indulgent look to the Shaker collection. To match this, we have also created our own smokey brown stain finish, specifically for use on walnut. We use the same American Black Walnut to make our beds, this finish is designed to sit with the Smoked Walnut Shaker range. A beautiful, deep finish for a luxurious aesthetic.
