We are so happy to announce that our Black Lotus furniture range has been re-stocked!After a few years of uncertainty, we have secured a new supplier for our exclusive designs. In this blog I’ll run through why we chose them, new photography and also what you can continue to expect from this line!
One thing that certainly hasn’t changed, is the quality and simplistic design of this beautiful furniture range!Exclusive to Natural Bed Company, the Black Lotus range of bedroom storage was designed by our founder, Peter Bennion. Made up of high quality, stylish storage solutions, this collection is beautifully crafted for us by an eco conscious European manufacturer. The furniture created by this manufacturer has a more rustic look than ou previous Vietnam made range. This collection makes a feature of the natural knots and variation in grain found in solid timber.
Perfectly designed to suit our handmade solid wooden beds, this family of wooden furniture is available in two styles:
Based on our original Cube bedside table, this range is simple, modern and beautiful. Made from solid timber, the cube range features a small shelf positioned at either the top or bottom of the unit – perfect for storing books, slippers etc. Or leave open for a sophisticated and minimal look!
From a compact bedside table with two drawers to a five drawer tall boy and an end-of-bed bench. The clean lines of the Cube range ensures that they look good with any of our contemporary bed bases.
This range has a classic style – the top is a little wider than the frame, it has simple handle-less drawers and the frame sits on four square section legs. The design of this collection is inspired by simple ‘Shaker’ look furniture, but has a more modern sensibility.
Made up of five pieces, from a two-drawer bedside unit, to a tall five-drawer chest. The clean and timeless look of this range makes them perfect for pairing with our Classic bed designs!
Please note: At the time this is written, we expect the Shaker stock to arrive early 2024!

We aim to keep stock of this range and the lead-time for these items will (usually) be around 1-2 weeks. If we sell out of a particular item, it may be a couple of months before they are re-stocked. Please do contact us for more detailed information about ordering and lead-times.
All of our deliveries take place on a two man to room of choice service. This premium service ensures that all of these solid wood items are delivered safely and you don’t have to worry about any heavy lifting! The crew will also unpack the items and remove any packaging if asked.
