Can you believe it’s Christmas again? It always comes around so fast! And, in terms of gift-buying, it always feels like it sneaks up on you (or me at least!). This year, we thought we’d break down some of our favourite gift ideas across our entire range. A lesser-thought of gift than many, bedding can make a brilliant gift at Christmas. Maybe you know someone who has recently moved house or has done up their bedroom. Or maybe they’ve just bought a brand new bed. We all love that fresh bedding feeling, so why not treat someone to it!
Bed linen can be divisive because everyone has different tastes when it comes to fabrics and colour schemes. With this in mind, we recommend sticking with neutral colours and classic, luxurious fabrics. Some of our favourites are the Luxury Linen Bedding in Stone or the Striped Cotton Bedding in Grey. The humble throw makes a great gift. Easy to use and store, they’re accessible and fit a variety of purposes. They’re also a little easier to buy for someone than a full bedding set. For Christmas, we recommend our range of wool throws. Cosy, comfy and luxurious, they are a wonderful gift to receive. A certain ornament, candle or lamp can bring just the right sort of atmosphere to a space, accentuating that homely feeling. Candles are always a lovely gift. Scented or unscented, they’re an easy way to add light and atmosphere to any room. Our top tip for choosing scents is to base it on the room of the house. If you know your loved one lights a candle in the kitchen after cooking, choose a fresh, appetising scent. Herbal, mint or citrus fragrances are often a good choice here. If it’s for the bedroom or living room, go for a more calming scent; lavender, cotton or woody scents are all great options.
Or, if you know your gift-ee will light their candle in the bath, go for something indulgent! Vanilla, tonka or patchouli are great options for something a bit headier. A true classic at Christmas! Who doesn’t love a cosy pair of slippers? A brilliant, often unisex gift that is easy to buy – just make sure you have a sneaky conversation about shoe sizes and you’re good to go.
