The Arran bed base is a stylish, contemporary classic. The headboard is buttoned and padded for extra comfort, and is available to order here in our premium upholstery fabric, Parquet. The full range of colour options can be found via the link to our suppliers’ website. Parquet is a luxury, pure wool fabric with a basket-weave pattern – made by Moons in West Yorkshire.

The Arran, a modern classic, is available in a range of timbers. It features a cosy, wool covered headboard panel upholstered in your choice of fabric. Here, you can order the Arran upholstered with our premium fabric option; Parquet. The bed frame pictured in the main images above is in solid walnut, the buttoned headboard upholstered in Tailor fabric (unfortunately no longer available).
Similar to our Sahara and Malabar bed bases, the Arran features a compact footprint. The frame is handcrafted from solid timber, and you can select your favourite from the options shown in the timber options tab above.
All our wooden beds are fitted with sprung beech slats for extra comfort and to increase the life of your mattress.
Every bed is made to order. Our lead-time is usually around 8 weeks (+ delivery). This can fluctuate throughout the year, please do get in touch for the most up to date information.
Made to order, the Arran is available in two different fabric ranges. Here, you can order it in our premium fabric option; Parquet. However, the upholstery pictured above is our old fabric, Tailor, which is no longer available. Parquet is a luxurious, 100% wool fabric, available in a range of contemporary colours. You can find the full colour range here on our supplier’s website, where you can also order free samples.

If you would like to order this bed upholstered in your own fabric, please contact us for further information. For plain fabrics, we would require approximately 2m to complete the upholstery. If you intend to use a patterned fabric, we may require more. Fabrics must also comply with the appropriate Fire Retardancy certification as required by law.
Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.

Approx self assembly time: 20 minutes
Mattress Depth Information: All of our upholstered bed bases are designed to fit a mattress depth of around 20cm.
If your mattress is much deeper than this, the thickness of the cushioned headboard can prevent the mattress from sitting perfectly on your bed frame so it may overhang along the bottom edge slightly. We can customise any of our upholstered bed bases by slightly raising the position of the headboard panel to suit the depth of your mattress - most small alterations do not require any additional cost. Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a carrier. Delivery is arranged with the carrier once your order is ready, and will be on an agreed day and time slot.
Within the Sheffield area, we deliver using our own vehicle. Once your order is ready to be delivered, we will contact you to arrange a delivery date and time slot.

This bed is absolutely beautiful. We are so pleased. The workmanship is excellent, the design lovely, headboard with Moon fabric fabulous. It really does look wonderful in our holiday let. I highly recommend.
