In this blog we take a look at our range of small bedside tables – perfect when space is at a premium and you need to make the most of the bedside space you have. We have various options available from bedside tables that are also small chests of drawers, to small plinths or shelves that just provide you with the space you need for a book or a cuppa!
If floor space is tight, don’t despair there is still a way to have a bedside ‘table’ of sorts. The Bedside Shelf Lamp is a great solution – it is wall mounted – so it takes up no floor space. It is also magnetic with a magnetc lamp holder that attaches on to the shelf or backplate as you desire. There is still enough space on the shelf for a book, alarm clock and/or a cup of tea. Available in grey or off white it is just H 12cm x W 35cm x D 12cm.
If you just want a place to store a book or a couple of magazines, then try the Strum in brass or copper. These handy wall mounted racks are just 23 x 23 x 5 cm in size and they look good empty or full.
The Kulu bed is a stylish low bed that is available to order with its won bedside ‘table’ plinths. The fixed side tables make a handy space for your bedtime reading or an alarm clock. Each fixed side-table measures 24 x 35cm.
If you don’t want your table to be attached to the bed or the wall, then take a look at our range of caddies. These can be carried away as you need them – available with three or four tiers, with circular trays or rectangular boxes. The Mezza caddy with three deep rectangular boxes is 22cm x 26cm x Height 84cm in size, made in oak with a natural or dark stain finish. This caddy is a handy way to store spare toiletries and a couple of books without taking up much floor space – ideal for small guest bedrooms or bathrooms. The circular caddies are made in the same meterials as the Mezza.
The 4 tier caddy has 4 shallow lipped trays, providing useful, easily accessible storage space requiring only a small foot-print. Modern, sophisticated bathroom or bedside storage – again perfect to provide a surface to place toiletries, some bedtime reading or a glass of wine. Light enough to easily move from room to room. Dia 20cm x Height 86cm.
The 3 tier caddy has a larger footprint and just three lipped trays, it is Dia 26cm x Height 82cm in size so it’s the perfect place for a few books and magazines.
The tall and narrow side table trolley is a handy peice of furniture that can be used for a variety of purposes. It has a large uppder shelf and a half size lower shelf with a storage rack taking up the rest of the space. Mini bar, maagzine rack and table or extra kitchen work space – this stylish trolley is useful in any room of the house!
The Ethnicraft Frame table is made of solid oak – a solid base and top with light joining frame. This elegant table can slot over your low bed base or sofa seat (see the images above). The Damien tables are another good, flexible choice – the tops lift off to be used as a tray, or use with the oak base as a side table or bedroom table. The tray top (availble in black, white or oak) has a section cut out to allow access for cables so you can charge your phone etc and it still looks tidy. The nest of tables are handy where space is an issue as you can store the smaller table under the tall table when it’s not needed. They also look just as suited to the lounge as the bedroom, so you can store them in the room with the most space and just use occassionally elsewhere.

We also make our own Cube bedside tables in three height options – low (H 33cm), original (H 50cm) or tall (H 60cm). A slim upper drawer and a low floor level shelf provides useful storage for smll bits and peices and a tall stack of books or magazines.
