At Natural Bed Company we are always on the lookout for new sustainable, natural and ethical products to add to our range. We are frequently asked for vegan bedding by our customers so when Devon Duvets introduced their Botanic range of vegan duvets we knew we had to have them!

The duvets contain TENCEL Lyocell fibres derived from sustainable wood sources. The timber is, through an environmentally responsible manufacturing process, converted to fibres which are then used in both the filling and outer casing of the duvet. This range of duvets is 100% plant based and has been registered by the Vegan Society. We know our customers are passionate about buying British made products, not only to keep local skills alive, but also to reduce the carbon footprint of the items they purchase. These vegan duvets are hand-crafted in Devon, keeping the carbon foot-print of the product low. The duvet itself is also fully biodegradable and compostable.

The fibres used in the Botanic Vegan Duvets are breathable with temperature regulating properties which ensure that your do not over-heat as you sleep. The fabric is soft and luxurious, described by the manufacturer as softer than cotton – this duvet is proof that you do not need to sacrifice comfort for a natural product.
Our range of vegan duvets are available in single, double, king and super-king sizes and are machine washable at 30 degrees. Either line dry or low tumble dry to keep your duvet in the best condition.

If you are looking for more natural alternatives for your home bedding take a look at our range of Kapok pillows, organic cotton filled duvets and organic cotton bedding.

Kapok is a cotton-like, fluffy fibre obtained from seed pods. Also known as ‘plant-down’ due to its silky, fly-away quality, Kapok is a fibre with great warmth retention and is naturally dust mite resistant. The light-weight, cotton filled luxury duvet has a soft organic cotton percale cover, and is filled with fluffy and warm organic cotton. It is GOTS and Soil Association certified, so you can be confident of its eco credentials. It’s the ideal duvet for people who want to sleep in natural materials, but not animal fibres.

Our range of natural, organic cotton bedding is undyed and unbleached and is responsibly made and ethically traded. We have three options available – the classic range of cream slightly speckled bedding, the luxury sateen range in warm ivory and the every-day range in soft brown marl.

We also have pillow protectors and mattress protectors in organic cotton, along with a lightly padded mattress cover of organic cotton. Check out our mattress range for a range of chemical free sprung mattresses, and vegan foam mattresses.
