The latest addition to our collection of beds combines the cosiness of our upholstered range – the Arran, Iona & Skye – with the elegant, curved and tapered legs of our Camden range. The Bloomsbury is a beautiful, mid-century look bed frame, the base is available in a wide range of hardwood timbers, while the padded and buttoned headboard panel can be upholstered in various fabrics. This allows you to create a model tailored to your bedroom colour scheme and all your own.

Tall Buttoned Headboard

The Bloomsbury has a tall heaboard panel with two rows of buttons. A deeply padded board is upholstered and decorated with individually hand-covered buttons in fabric to match the upholstery.
The headboard is available upholstered as standard in Amatheon or Tailor fabrics, in a range of classic shades. Alternatively take a look at our pure wool Premium Parquet fabric option, which has a parquet pattern perfect for a mid-century look. Parquet is available in a range of stunning shades. This pure wool fabric will look fabulous on the Bloomsbury bed base.
If you want to use your own plain fabric we can usually do that too! We just need a large swatch (approximately 30x30cm), for our upholsterer to check its suitability, and proof that it has been tested to meet all UK fire retardancy regulations.

Attention to Detail

The frame for the Bloomsbury is reminiscent of the base on the Camden and Hoxton beds. The design is slightly adjusted to to suit the tall headboard having deeper foot and side rails.
Shown here in solid oak, the bed frame is also available in walnut, cherry, maple, ash or beech. The change in grain for the legs and rails adds interest and draws attention to the pattern of the natural grain.
The legs and rails have gently curved edges. The legs taper to give and light and refined look to the base.
