Every bed in our collection is made from solid hardwood, not veneer or engineered board. We work with sustainably sourced timbers – oak, walnut, ash, maple, cherry, beech and pine – all from well-managed forests in North America and Europe. Most designs are available across the full timber range (and some in extra special edition options), so you can match your bed to your existing furniture or choose a wood that suits the character of your room.
Because every bed is made to order at our Sheffield workshop, we can build your sin any standard UK size, or in custom dimensions if your room requires in. Continental, US and bespoke sizes are all available – just get in touch and we’ll advise.
Our wooden bed collection spans a wide variety of styles and proportions. If you’re after something low and grounded, our low beds and Japanese-inspired designs suit contemporary, minimalist interiors beautifully. For drama and presence, our four poster beds make an instant statement. The classic and Scandinavian ranges offer timeless lines that sit will in traditional or neutral schemes, while our Indian-inspired collection brings warmth and decorative detail.
Prefer the look of fabric alongside wood? Our upholstered beds range pair a solid hardwood frame with a headboard in your choice of fabric – a good option If you want the quality of solid timber with a softer, cosier feel.
All of our solid wood beds come with sprung beech slats as standard. These flex gently under the mattress for added comfort and support. Firm, fixed pine slats are available as an upgrade if preferred. Each bed comes with a 12-year structural guarantee and delivery to mainland UK is included free of charge. For some designs we also make matching bedside tables and convenient under-bed drawers. There’s even a Camden bench which looks fantastic at the end of the bed. These are available in matching timbers.
