There are many pine beds for sale on the web and in the high street - mostly traditional and country style designs. At the Natural Bed Company we design contemporary beds and our philosophy is to make our beds as accessible as possible – so we offer our modern designs in pine as well as hardwoods such as oak and walnut.

Our contemporary pine beds are made to the same exacting standards as our hardwood beds; they’re designed in-house and made in our workshops in Sheffield, UK.
Except the Java, all the pine beds on this page share one interesting and useful feature – the mattress sits on the edge of the pine frame, rather than inside the frame, so the footprint of the bed is smaller - good news if you’re short of space or trying to fit a larger size bed into your bedroom. Don’t worry about the mattress slipping – all our pine beds include a piece of non slip matting to keep the mattress in place.
We use a high quality timber for our pine beds so, although there will be some knots they will be few and small.
Our pine beds are offered in different finishes: Sanded pine beds are the lowest price and a good choice if you want to finish the bed yourself, maybe to match other colours in your bedroom; Clear pine beds have a matt lacquer with a slight sheen which protects the wood and brings out the richness of the wood; Stained pine beds can be ordered in a choice of colours. They have a final finish of clear matt lacquer.

Small Single pine beds: Metric size: 75mx1.90m or 2.00m; Imperial size: 2'6"x6'3" or 6'6"
Standard Single pine beds: Metric size: 90mx1.90m or 2.00m; Imperial size: 3'x6'3" or 6'6"
Threequarter or Small Double pine beds: Metric size: 1.20mx1.90m or 2.00m; Imperial size: 4'x6'3" or 6'6"
Double pine beds: Metric size: 1.35mx1.90m or 2.00m; Imperial size: 4'6"x6'3" or 6’6"
King Size pine beds: Metric size: 1.50mx2.00m; Imperial size: 5'x6'6"
Superking Size pine beds: Metric size: 1.80mx2.00m; Imperial size: 6'x6'6"
