As the nights draw in, and the temperature plummets, it brings out my inclination to hibernate! Oh the joys of winter!! Unfortunately hibernation isn’t an option, but happily I can make my bedroom a warm and cosy refuge from the cold. With this in mind we’ve put together a collection of winter bedroom looks to inspire you and demonstrate that it is possible to be snuggly and stylish at the same time…

Be inspired by Scandinavian Chic

They know how to deal with the cold up there! They also have an unerring sense of style, so who better to copy for a warm yet chic and contemporary bedroom. Scandinavian style (as we interpret it) involves a limited colour palette – often almost monochrome – and simple, unfussy furniture designs.

We have a range of beds to suit this look – including our Zanskar and Cochin designs – in solid wood. The Cochin and Zanskar designs are medium height (40cm from the ground to the top of the side rails) with generous headboard panels. Perfect to pile your pillows against while doing a little bedtime reading!
If you prefer a softer, cosy look – try our Shetland and Arran beds which have a quality solid wood frame along with an upholstered headboard panel. Both styles are contemporary, sophisticated designs and can incorporate a client’s own upholstery fabric for a co-ordinated bedroom look.
