Part of our Camden collection, the Bloomsbury is a stylish bed with a mid-century look. Here it has a faux leather headboard padded for extra comfort and with buttoned detail. This elegant solid wood bed frame has a compact foot-print and gently curved and tapered legs (also found on our Camden bed).
The bed can be made in your choice of hardwood, and upholstered in our soft, faux leather fabric. The frame is shown here in solid walnut, with Vaquero fabric in Aniline. To learn more about our timbers, please click here.
Part of our Camden collection, you can customise the Bloomsbury bed thanks to its fabric headboard. Upholstered here with a buttoned, faux leather headboard, Bloomsbury is a stylish, modern bed, but with a mid-century style. Not only is the handcrafted wooden frame available to order in your choice of hardwood timber but you can also choose from a range of fabric options for the upholstery. We showcase the latest addition to our range here: Vaquero.

Our wooden beds are fitted with sprung beech slats for extra comfort and to increase the life of your mattress. We supply non-slip matting with the bed base to keep your mattress in place.
Each bed is made to order. Our current lead-time is currently around 6-8 weeks (+ delivery).
The Bloomsbury is available in three different fabric ranges. Here, we showcase our faux leather fabric option; Vaquero. Vaquero is a luxurious soft, faux suede fabric – available in a range of contemporary, neutral colours. You can find the full colour range here on our supplier’s website. Within the Fabrics tab to the left of this page, you will find detailed images of the fabric swatches. If you would like to receive samples of any of the fabrics, please contact us.
If you prefer a more pared-back look, take a look at our Bloomsbury with Faux Leather Headboard. Upholstered in the same Vaquero fabric, but with a central, double top stitched seam detail instead of the more traditional buttoning.
You can also order the Bloomsbury bed upholstered in our standard fabric range or pure wool options. If you would like to order this bed upholstered in your own fabric, please contact us for further information. We will require approx. 2m of plain fabric for this bed base, potentially more if your fabric is patterned. Fabrics must comply with the appropriate Fire Retardancy certification as required by law.

Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, reveals the myriad of colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.

Mattress Depth Information: Our upholstered bed bases are designed to fit a mattress with a depth of around 20cm. If your mattress is much deeper than this, the thickness of the cushioned headboard may prevent the mattress from sitting perfectly on the bed frame and may overhang the bottom edge slightly.

Outside of the Sheffield area, we use a carrier. Delivery is arranged with the carrier once your order is ready, and will be on an agreed day and time slot.
