The Carlisle is a beautiful, contemporary bed with a mid-century style, available here in black stained oak. A simple yet deep padded headboard for extra comfort. The curved frame is made of deep, slender sections of solid timber for a soft retro look.

The Carlisle is a modern classic with a plush padded headboard and retro curves. It is available here in black stain oak, with four standard fabric options: Andes, Amatheon, Eco-Velvet or Poole. Every bed is made to order. Our lead-time is usually around 8 weeks (+ delivery). This can fluctuate throughout the year, please do get in touch for the most up to date information.

As standard, we use our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity. However, the black stain used on this oak bed creates a very opaque finish, whilst still allowing the texture of the grain to show through. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.
All our wooden beds are fitted as standard with sprung beech slats for extra comfort, and to help increase the life of your mattress.

Mattress Depth Information: All of our upholstered bed bases are designed to fit a mattress depth of around 20cm.
If your mattress is much deeper than this, the thickness of the cushioned headboard can prevent the mattress from sitting perfectly on your bed frame so it may overhang along the bottom edge slightly. We can customise any of our upholstered bed bases by slightly raising the position of the headboard panel to suit the depth of your mattress - most small alterations do not require any additional cost. Pile: 100% recycled polyester. Backing: 70% modacrylic, 25% cotton, 5% synthetic fibre
Eco Velvet is Warwick’s first 100% recycled pile velvet – each meter of Eco Velvet repurposes around 30 x 550ml bottles otherwise destined for landfill. FR compliance is achieved through a clever naturally FR modacrylic blend backing, so there is no requirement for any further chemical FR treatment.
