A special take on our classic Hoxton Bed base. This edition is the same beautiful, handmade, solid wood bed, but draws attention to the headboard chevron pattern with contrast timber details between the panels. The contrast timber is also used as highlights to the side rails and foot rail.

The Special Edition Hoxton is another of our handmade beds. It features the stunning chevron headboard of our classic Hoxton bed, but with additional details. Contrast timber can be found highlighting the headboard panels, along with matching highlights to the side rails and front rail. This Special Edition is only available in solid walnut, with your choice of contrast. Contrast timbers can be either oak, ash, beech, cherry or maple (as shown above). Find out more about our timbers here.
Please note, we have recently updated our Camden collection to include slightly thicker timber sections which results in a simpler assembly. These changes are very subtle; you can see them in the main image of the original Hoxton page. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

All our wooden beds are fitted with sprung beech slats for extra comfort and to increase the life of your mattress. We supply non-slip matting with this bed base to keep your mattress in place.
Every bed is made to order. Our current lead-time is currently around 6 – 8 weeks (+delivery).
Our ‘natural’ look lacquer finish, named for its clarity, allows you to appreciate the myriad of colours and subtle variations in tone of natural timber. It retains a very subtle, soft sheen which protects the timber from grease marks and some stains.

I purchased the special edition bed (in a custom larger size with a tweak in that the chevrons on the headboard pointed upwards instead of downwards) – it arrived yesterday.
The experience from working with the sales team deciding what I wanted through to delivery to the first floor was flawless
I assembled the bed quickly and easily.
It looks wonderful – an absolute masterpiece. I noted in the accompanying paperwork that it was built by just one person – Sean. Thank you Sean – you have made an stunning piece of furniture – we are very happy with it.
