All of our low beds are built from solid hardwood – oak, walnut, maple, ash, cherry and beech – with some also available in solid pine, and made to order at our Sheffield workshop. For the most minimal, floor hugging profile, the Kobe, Kumo and Kyoto our are most popular Japanese-inspired designs – clean, considered frames that sit very close to the ground and suit contemporary, pared back interiors beautifully. The Osaka and Nara take a similar approach but with a different leg profile, and in the case of the Osaka mid-century-inspired curves. Think of it as a cross between our ever-popular Camden and Kyoto frames. All of these bed frames are available with or without a headboard as standard.
If you love mid-century style, the Carnaby and Pimlico are shorter versions of the Camden with gorgeous curved legs. For some drama, why not try a Pimlico in stunning black oak?
For something with more presence, the Sonora pairs a low base with a generously tall headboard panel – a great option if you want the space-enhancing effect of a low frame but still want some height at the head of the bed. The Iona offers a low profile with a sophisticated upholstered headboard if you are looking for something softer.
Our platform beds – The Oregon, ki, and Kulu – are a real statement, perfect for larger rooms or warehouse conversions. If you are looking to save space, the Kulu low bed with fitted side tables could be a great choice.
All of our low beds come with sprung beech slats as standard with fixed pine available as an optional upgrade. Ideal for loft conversions and low ceilings – Our lowest designs have very minimal under-bed clearance, making them perfect for rooms with low ceilings.
Solid Hardwood – we don’t use veneers or MDF in our bed frames.
Matching Furniture – we offer under-bed drawers which are perfect for the Kyoto, and matching Kyoto and Oregon tables. These are available in matching hardwood timbers.
